About
Small on purpose. Personal by design.
LRWeb is two people, a careful client list, and a strong opinion that websites should be looked after by humans you can name.
The short version
LRWeb exists because most small organisations get a rotten deal on websites. The cheap end sells you "space on a server" and disappears. The agency end charges five figures and assigns you an account manager. In between is a gap: people who want a good website, looked after properly, by someone who answers emails.
That's us. We build websites, then we take responsibility for them — hosting, updates, security, backups, edits, the lot. We deliberately keep the client list small so every site gets real attention from people who actually remember building it.
Luke
Co-founder · builds & looks after the sites
Handles the design, development and day-to-day care. Believes a website should load fast, read clearly, and never make its owner feel stupid. Allergic to jargon.
Ralph
Co-founder · keeps everything running
Handles the operations side — making sure the hosting hums, the backups happen, and clients always know where things stand. The reason invoices arrive on time.
How we work
Three rules we don't break
Plain English, always
If we can't explain something without jargon, we don't understand it well enough. You'll never get an email from us you need to Google.
Few clients, done well
We cap our client list deliberately. When we're full, we say so and start a waiting list. Quality doesn't survive a hundred clients.
No upsells, no nonsense
If you don't need something, we'll tell you. The plan you're on should be the cheapest one that genuinely does the job.
Transparency
Where your website actually lives
Most hosts keep this vague. We'd rather you knew.
